OUR STORY

First, we want to thank you for choosing our nail salon for your relaxation and self-care. We truly appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us, and we’re grateful to be part of your beauty and wellness routine.
My journey in the beauty industry began at the age of thirteen when my family moved from Vietnam to the U.S. to build a better life. To help support them, I started learning nail technology, and by sixteen, I was managing our family’s nail salon in Louisiana. Balancing school and business proved difficult, so we made the decision to move to Kansas, where I could focus on my education. There, I met my spouse, and together we moved to Charlottesville, VA. to help manage my sister’s business.
In 2018, we took the leap to open Princess Nails Spa in Virginia Beach at the age of 23. Starting small, it was just the two of us and a few employees, but we were determined. The road wasn’t always easy-when COVID-19 hit, we faced immense challenges, but the support of our loyal clients kept us going.
In 2022, we expanded by opening DeVinn Nail Bar in Edinburgh, and in 2023, we were able to grow further with a new location in Norfolk, thanks to our valuable partnerships.
